I miss you already, Anne McCaffrey →
So, Anne McCaffrey has written some of my favourite scifi, I’m just putting that out there. Restoree is a fucking amazing book. Her visions of society consistently fascinate me and pull me in. Also, dragons.
She died this week. Go look her up, read The Ship Who Sang and get all into cyborg-rights. She’d be proud.

Almond Macaroons
250g (8oz) caster sugar 150g (5oz) ground almonds 1tbsp rice flour 2 egg whites rice paper 25 split almonds Mix sugar, almonds and rice flour together and set aside.
